327 federal rifle

You know whats gona happen. Eventually I will give in and pay to get what I want. And as soon as I take delivery of my nice $2000 327mag lever gun.
Rossi will start selling them for $450.:(

Most people don't consider buying multiple lever guns. Especially multiple lever guns in pistol cartridges. The market is tiny.

John I have Marlins in 22 (model 39A) 32, 357 and 44 mag. I wanted to buy my uncles 32-20 Marlin reissue but his nutty wife wouldn't sell it to me after he died. I also wanted to buy the two first generation colts in 32-20 he had that belonged to his dad (my grandfather) but she wouldn't sell those either.

And I also have a Marlin Camp Carbine in 9mm and a Hi-Point 9mm that I suppose is on permanent loan to my oldest son. I had a Marlin 45-70 but no matching handgun.

Needless to say I really like pistol caliber rifles.;)

Forgot to add I also have Marlin and Winchester 30-30s.

And I would be all over a single shot 32 long or 32 mag if they made one. I am a fool for Rook & Rabbit rifles.

Coz if I ever decide to sell my 32 mag rifle I will give you first shot at it. Its like new with the box and all the paperwork. Not a mark on it.

After I commented about it. I dug out my 7.62x39 barrel blank and oiled it up.
Pretty sure if I can find some one with a bit more skill at the lathe than me.
Take a 12ga Rossi wizard barrel as a donate. Cut it off just after the action.
Turn the 7.62x39 barrel to fit inside the 12ga remnant. Silver Solder or weld them together. Chamber for 327 mag. Bingo!!!
Ahh poo would have to figure out the ejector. but hey its better than this.

Shoots surprisingly accurate out of my Mosin brush gun.

Hey Ratshooter. Back when Marlin was Marlin they made a dandy 44-40 lever. I mean a modern gun about 10 or 20 years ago. My buddy with the 357 Ruger 77 has one of those also. That is a real classic round in a classic gun. Nice wood too. It did not seem real practical when he got it, but I have Marlin envy now. That would be a nice one to ad to your collection. Maybe get an Uberti Colt in matching caliber?

I remember the 44-40 rifles. I am not really a collector I just buy stuff I like. I have too many guns now including some I have never shot like the Cabelas Hawken in 54 caliber that I have had for four years or so. Other unshot guns, Iver Johnson TP-22, Ruger standard model NIB from 1981 with 6" barrel, Remington BDL in 7x57, Ruger 77 in 30-06. These are just the ones I can think of. I don't need anymore guns right now. Unless I find a deal.:D

Poz at one time I thought about having an H&R Handi in 22 Hornet bored out and rechambered to 32 mag. It should clean up and the case head size is very close so extractor work should be easy. I think it was a guy here named Taylor arms that gave me a quote of around $500 for the job.
