.32 or .22 for carry

Too much money DDT? Which .32 did you have in mind? I picked up a Kel-Tec P-32 for $210 NIB here in Las Vegas. The .22 Berettas cost about that much.

Dean, price is pretty location dependant. Here I've seen P32's for over $300 and they run out of the store if they're under $300. Nobody can keep'em in stock.

ddt - I've shot one Beretta in .22 and it seemed fairly ammo sensitive. (shot well when stoked with the right fuel) However, I have yet to see a decent .25 that wouldn't shoot reliably.

I still want a .32 though!

Well, playing devils advocate can be enlightening. It seems the opinions are fairly unanimous.

With that said what is the best .32 ammo and .32 pistol and what are the capacities like? thanks -ddt

The Kel-Tec P-32 has a mag capacity of 7 rounds plus 1 up the spout. My favorite ammo is hard ball for practice, with silvertips and harball intermingled in the mag. Silvertip in the tube with a hardball first up in the magazine. This is an old habit that I go into back when the hollowpoint ammo that you could get for a .45acp was not all that good of a feeder, such as Speers flying ash tray 200 grainer. I would load a 200 grain Speer in the tube with a hardball first up in the mag, I guess old habits die hard.
