3 Gun Fun

I'd keep the 3 I currently have #1 Glock 20C, High capacity hunting pistol,,,,#2 Springfield XD Tactical Bi-Tone .45, target and home defense,,,,#3 FNP-40 Bi-tone ,,, carry and fun to shoot....If 4 were allowed, a Matchmaster stainless 1911........;)

The three I have, I guess...saves me some money, right?

1. Walther P5 9mm
2. Taurus M66 .357
3. Ruger Mk III 22/45

Besides, numbers 2 and 3 would have to be taken by force...from my wife.

Picking out of the Guns you already own? 1.Marlin 336 in the .35 cal 2. My Taurus Pt101 .40 cal( yep, even picked it over my XD9 Springfield) I can hear a collective Gasp. 3. My Mossberg 535 12 Gauge Atf Shotgun.:D

Great thread...

What if I tape all of my guns together, would they count as one so I don't have to get rid of any? :D

Limiting this to the guns I have is hard enough. If it were just 3 guns in general, I'd have a better time if I didn't have any!

Limited to guns I have:
1.) Para Ord. LDA 1911
2.) S&W 625 MG (w/ conversion for .45 & .45colt)
3.) Glock 36 - concealed carry

Atleast I would only need .45 ACP ammo on hand then, instead of all of the calibers I currently keep.

Ideally, I'd like to replace the G36 with a Ruger SP101 3" in .357 or .327 for carry, but haven't turned one up yet.

Of course, I don't know what I would do w/o my cowboy sixguns or some of my historic-collectables, let alone my other guns!

When I was a poor little kid I had only three:

CZ-75 (for personal protection)
Ruger Security-Six (for hunting, silhouette shooting)
Phoenix HP-22 (for plinking and teaching others how to shoot)

I'm on a 3-gun rule with my wife - that includes handguns and rifles. I've thought about it long and hard...

1) Concealed carry piece:
What I have is a Ruger SP101, and it's inconveniently heavy to pack on a daily basis. A Smith model 642 is on order, and luckily I'll be able to use my current .38's in it.

2) Open carry/home defense piece:
What I have is a shootable, but ugly condition Colt Python. Its barrel is undertwisted and its finish is poor. I'm going to sell it and pick up either a Smith model 60 5" or model 629 Carry Comp.

3) Plinking/small game hunting piece:
Don't have one yet. Thinking this might be a Ruger 10/22 or Marlin 70SS.

The other route is to go with a CCW, longarm for HD/OC, and a .22 pistol for plinking.

1. CZ-75 9mm
2. Ruger GP100 4" .357
3. Sig P239 9mm

Kind of surprised myself by not listing a .45, but if I only allow myself one large frame auto it's the CZ. Shoots like a dream.

The little Sig is for hot weather.

The GP is for the great outdoors, although theoretically I might trade it for a 6" for this scenario.
