Blades67,
No. I never claimed I had a beef with PMC brass. I merely ran with the suggestion of others (including Walther USA) that it was not built like other brass, THEN doing inspection of the pieces I have and noting that the web (from visual inspection) is not as stout as other brass. I have already admitted my folly (I never admitted I was a jackass, purely your immature invention) by reloading PMC brass that I did not know the history of. My credibility is just fine, sir, without the need to call others names, as I've reported my experience identically as I've noted it. I have posted and re-measured OAL, powder charges, type of powder and bullets, etc., and having taken and posted photos in earnest efforts to provide value to other shooters. I frankly do NOT appreciate your deprecating remarks and challenge you to reveal how my veracity is somehow questionable by what I have posted. I suggest that your are "offended" by someone posting experience with PMC brass contrary to yours.
Grow Up. Cryoman
For anyone else interested and not familiar, the Walther P99 in .40, in my opinion, does have an unsupported barrel for some measurable length. Maybe we are only talking "degree." of support. I agree with other's comments that the structural integrity of this gun, despite my bad choice of reloading brass, has proven sound in the face of two case failures.
