When you get away from mainstream cartridges, you have to pay to play.
I ordered some .25-25 and .25-21 Stevens a few months back, from Rocky Mountain Cartridge. They refused to fill the order, when they found out I'd be using smokeless powder. I don't blame them; it's their business.
The auction poster is suffering from hysterical optimism. He wants $417 per box, while Midway has the same thing for "only" $209:

Interesting, two people who are still shooting the old Stevens cartridges.
Another member and I were discussing them in a thread over in General.
My gunsmith in Pennsylvania had a Stevens 44 target rifle in, IIRC, .25-25. He was very good with it.

A friend of mine has a Stevens in 25/20 SS. Last time I saw brass, it was $2 a pop.
