.22lr revolver, decent price

Can't find a Pathfinder for sale anywhere. I've given up on the Taurus as every Utube review seems to have a second one where they sent it in for repair. Too bad, it's a good looking revolver. I'm going on a road trip this weekend to see what's available.

Start thinking about your purchases as if they they will be the LAST you -ever- intend to buy for THAT particular role and you will end up in a much better place than with a Taurus or a Rough Rider.

I think that is a good approach especially when buying 22 revolvers. Folks believe they should cost less. But the reality is they cost the same or sometimes a little more for the better ones relative to the same basic model in 38spl/357 mag.

There's really no rational reason that a .22LR chambered double action revolver really should be priced lower from the same maker as their .38/.357 offerings. It takes the same materials (if the frame size is -- it takes slightly MORE material for the .22LR) and it takes the same process to manufacture them.

If anything, you could make an argument that the .22 version should cost more than a .38/.357 from the same company, when you consider the economy of scale. Far more .38/.357's are being made & sold.

I agree but lots of shooters are under the impression that .22's should be "cheap". Even if they're made just like a centerfire and with the same materials.

"Prerifiling" huh? That was funny! I have checked out several Taurus 94s recently. All of them looked like the photo. No thanks. Buy a Ruger!
