As hideous looking as they are (my opinion at least), the NEOS is very accurate. My Son has one, now sporting a red dot optic, but even before the high tech addition it shot very well.
Unless of course Dad just wants to use turning the Ruger over to Daughter as an excuse to get a new CZ, or 1911 style 22.
