.22LR Accuracy Techniques

Prone with an old Weaver T10 boosted to 16X that I put a 3 diopter lens on its eyepiece to make it a 25X scope.

cw308: I turned 71 this winter and am feeling it, but after cataract surgery, see 20/15, so my distance vision is better than ever (uncorrected). Accommodation for seeing iron sights is not very good, but still okay in daylight. Thank God for scopes!

Pitcher, going down the same road. Appointment with the eye doctor on the 27th, hope it turns out as good as yours

Good luck to you CW. I hope you have a doctor who does a lot of them, not just as a sideline. My first eye was done by my regular eye doctor and it didn't come out as well as the one by the eye surgeon who does them almost every day.

I chose not to have it done by laser, but by regular surgery. I've heard that lasers can cause long-term problems.
