.223 1 in 9 bullet weight

The 75g A-max is longer than the 75 BTHP.
This makes it less stable according to the stability calculator. I have had no problems with the 75g BTHP IN my 1:9 twist Savage Axis. That bolt gun tolerates longer bullets in the magazine (same short action receiver as 308). The chamber, in my specific gun, also tolerates longer OAL. I like that so much, I am thinking of having my Savage 10 223 police sniper rifle chamber and throat reamed because it will not close on anything longer than Spec. Maybe just to 5.56 spec. Or even AI. That gun also has the short action/longer (than AR15) magazine.
