.22?

I'd recommend either an airgun or a bow with judo pointed arrows for small game hunting. For rabbits and such, they are plenty lethal at 20 yards, you don't have to worry about richochets flying around the neighborhood, and there will be no noise complaints.

Had always thought that it should be a pellet gun, but then I discovered the existence of low noise 22 ammo. Not that noise will be a problem once I get a nice piece of property.( I'm thinking 40 or 50 acres minimum) I just don't like hearing protection and I'm not sure I want to go the suppressor route. That, and the fact that if I should need to go out a little farther I could always load some faster ammo makes the .22 a more versatile solution.

I never did learn how to shoot a bow without skinning my fore-arm. I'm handicapped and not getting any younger anyway, so a bow is pretty much too much trouble to be worth it for me.

If you buy the CZ 455 Amercian check Gunbroker before you buy. There is at least one dealer on there that routinely sells them at a pretty decent price with free shipping.

Yeah. That's where I saw the pictures that I fell in love with. I hope he's still selling them when I get it together!
