The Smith 41 is a neat gun if you can afford it. I haven't seen one for less than $700 for quite awhile.
 
One more vote for the Mark II Ruger. About disassembly and reassembly. It is NOT difficult if you read and follow the instructions supplied with the pistol. It is helpful to have a small wire loop to open the hammer spring catch. A large snap swivel migrated from my tackle box to my gun box for just that purpose. I have the 6 7/8" tapered barrel target model in blue. Like the longer barrel and less weight than bull barrel, fully adjustable sights and the trigger is not bad either.
 
i (my wife) has a S&W model 41 and it is one of the single finest .22lr pistols ever made and accurate enough to shoot a fly off of a can at around 25 feet (i've done it)
i love shooting it. bye the way we have the 7" barrel on it.
