.22 Pistol Suggestions???

I've had my SS Ruger Mark II, 6 7/8" barrel for over 15 years and haven't had a problem other than a failure to feed once when I got lazy about cleaning it. I bought it used, too. It's an accurate workhorse, and taking it apart and putting it back together is fairly simple after you do it once.

FEG Mark II, 139 USD from KY Imports. Accurate little Walther-like gun that only needs some work on the spring to improve the DA triggerpull.

I have the stainless slabside 6 7/8" mk2 as well. I absolutely love the gun. In fact I think I'll have to go shoot it after work. My dad has a Buckmark as well and I would still take my Mk2 over his browning. Although his buckmark is a sweet pistol as well. When I first got my gun I had all kinds of feeding problems. It was because I was trying to use really soft hollow point cheap ammo. I switched to using Remington Thunderbolts (still cheap but not hp) and it hasn't had a jam in over 2k rounds. Also the accuracy is outstanding even with Thunderbolts. I can easily hit clay pigeons setting in the range at 50 yrds every time. I would go with the MKII or maybe the 22/45. Larz
