.22 LR Wishlist to manufacturers

Another vote here for the Walther P22. I've had mine for a few years now and it's fantastic. If you're looking for an improved sight picture compared to other 22 pistols, look no further.

A Stainless CZ Kadet with a 30 + round magazines

Now you're just being greedy,,, :D

I'm just tickled that CZ make an exact duplicate of the CZ 75 B for .22 LR,,,
So tickled in fact that a pair of CZ's is probably my next purchase,,,
As soon as I finish clearing my gun-only credit card,,,
Still have to pay off that last .22 I bought,,,
Dang Colt Trooper was 'spensive! :(

As for us guys who want a single-shot .22 pistol,,,
H&R makes wonderful break-action single-shot .22 rifles,,,
How much trouble could it be to design a pistol on the same action?,,,
It should just be designing a handgun stock and cutting down/tapering the barrel a bit.

Imagine a pair of those in a dueling pistol style wood box,,,
My friends, I would snag up a set of those in a hummingbird's heartbeat.

.

I was fortunate enough to find a Kadet slide for $200 before all this price jacking nonsense started. Now I hear they are approaching $400??

Yes, Sir. That's why I haven't bought one. Retail Price: $429.00. The best price I have found on the kit was $389.96 @ J&G Sales. $200 more for the whole gun. :(

Might be worth it if they made high capacity magazines :D 10 round magazine my little bolt action Scout holds that.

yeah I was too young to buy handguns when CZs where cheap... Man I missed out. I don't have a problem paying their current price but it does hurt to remember the old ones.

The long-gun style receiver tang doesn't look good with a pistol grip and offers a high bore line. It makes the pistol grip look funky and tacked on. Imagine the survivor style stock cut away behind the pistol grip. The ol' H&R Handy Gun, while a different action, is similar to what you are talking about and suffers from similar cosmetic difficulties.

A new receiver would fit the bill. I've always thought that if they could make pistols at least similarly priced to their rifles, they could give T/C a good fight. Especially if a new design didn't require factory fitting of new barrels. But I digress.

You know, I'd also buy a Hi-Point .22 pistol. If their new carbine stock is any indication, perhaps they actually do have some concern over the physical appearance of their firearms after all. Walther's cast zinc P22 certainly isn't bad looking, so it isn't a materials issue. If Hi Point could make a .22 pistol that didn't look like the bastard offspring of a cordless drill and drunken Steyr, it could really be a hit.

Full Sized Desert Eagle in .22lr plz

With a 60-round magazine. And for $200. And in ghetto-pimp gold.

Also, I second that motion on the Hi-Point. I really wish Hi-Point would come out with a .22 pistol and a .22 carbine. They'd be awesome for plinking.

Don't forget the other end of the spectrum. I would like to see .22 lr versions of the Ruger LCP; the Kel-Tec micro pistols; the CZ RAMI; the Springfield EMP; little Kimber Aegis; etc.... 10 rounds of .22 in our favorite pocket pistols would be sweet as well. And inexpensive to shoot. Manufacturers, help us out here.

I'd like to see the Colt Diamondback be manufactured again in stainless steel in 22lr with a 22 mag auxilary cylinder. Reasonably priced, of course!:)

I'd also like to see Kel-Tec morph the PMR-30 .22 Mag into a .22 LR pistol.

Please make adjustable sights available on both models.

I would love to see a 22LR version of the KelTec PMR-30 pistol. The 30 round capacity is wonderful, but 22Mag is nowhere near as cheap as 22LR.
