Dixie, if your resin is too runny, just get yourself a bottle of fumed silica (cabosil). It's the standard thickener for most resins. One bottle lasts a lifetime, you need 5% by weight at the most.

mapsjanhere, I've done all kinds of things like that to thicken the stuff they now have, but really miss the old Acra-Weld. The stuff was so thick, you used a metal key to roll it out of the tubes, in two equal parts, though it was actually not bad to mix, and it stuck where you put it. It was the consistency of thick axle grease. I wish they would find a supplier of something similar.
