1955 Combat Masterpiece Came in

Probably my favorite handgun

I occasionally borrow my bud's 15 from the early sixties and it is a joy to shoot.
It was a gift from his father-in-law so I know he's never going to sell or trade it away.

I'd have bought that in a flash for that money.
I have 2 M-15's both in 95% shape, paid $325 for one & $375 for the other.
Also have a pre-14 M-14 when they weren't a 14.
Huh?:confused::confused:
Anyway I love the old Smith revolvers and will buy everyone I see
that is reasonable. If anything is reasonable these days.

I used gunwatcher.com for the first time and was playing around
Punched in K38 and poof this one apperead on gunbroker with a buy it now of 299
I think I broke my finger hitting the button

When I see an affordable but quality handgun like that my warped, blasphemous self thinks: project gun! Cut it for moon clips and shoot low pressure 9mm through it and shoot it until it falls apart. Why 9mm? Because it's cheaper than .38 SPL.

Jealous, jealous. I hope to stumble upon a deal like that someday. I'm usually just too "busy" spending my money on work or parts of various silly project guns in order to take advantage of those deals of the moment. Glad somebody has the funds and the initiative to take advantage of them.

Buying anything of quality on a budget for me means lay away
God bless the guys that have the funds to pick up 2 or 3 fine revolvers at a time, me if the offer lay away that's about the only way I can swing these purchases.

We are glad you were able to find such a good deal using our site! We love hearing stories like this since this is exactly why we created gunwatcher. Hope it continues to help you find some good deals in the future!

A week later I picked up a very nice Astra 380
I will run out of money before gunwatcher runs out of deals!
