1911Forum.com ?????

I'm using Windows 98 (IE 5.5 SP1) at home and can access the 1911 forum.

Just a thought but I know our IT department has blocked lots of internet sites that pertain to GUNS, weapons, porno, etc. (whatever they consider politically incorrect). They use different wildcards to block out the sights as well as blocking other servers, etc. I don't think 1911forum has a name that would lead to it being blocked but maybe they have started to block all forum type web sites???
 
What happened to the 1911 Forum?? While it kind of sucked, it had some useful information there. I guess I miss it.

Real mature opinion :rolleyes: If it sucks so bad, then stay away. Amazes the hell out of me when people bitch about something that's provided FREE for them. Especially when this something costs several thousand dollars to maintain each year. :rolleyes:
 
It's like the old joke about the two guys complaining about a restaurant:

Some of the pissing contests amongst the pistolsmiths get stupid, but overall I like it.
 
Your best bet is to go to the range and try out as many pistols as possible.

I tend to prefer the AK in general to the AR series, but certainly wouldn't mind having either if things got ugly.

It doesn't really seem like an operator problem if both you and Col. Cooper were experiencing malfunctions. Have you tried different ammo?

I just had to click on this thread to see what all the fuss is over, now my brain has had a double feed. Tap, rack, bang.
