1911 reliability tests

What was funny about the JSSAP tests was that the .45 beat all 9mm competitors. Also during the tests if memory served me right the M-9 suffered a few malfunctions (5 if my memory serves me right). Not sure about the Sig malfunctions but a buddy of mine relayed and interesting story about the Sig- It seems he was in charge of security for the commanding general of USAREUR (U.S. Army Europe) and worked intimately with his security detatchment who all exclusively carried Sigs and bragged about them and their supposed reliability-Well he called for a demonstration/test of their weapons and capabilities and every Sig malfunctioned some numerous times. One good thing about the Beretta is that if and or when the firing pin breaks (unless it is the very tip of it) the weapon will still shoot-cannot say that about many autos out there.
