1911 magazines

Please re-read the information that came with your Wilson magazine.

I bought my Wilson mags when they first came out, I dont remember seeing anything like what you have posted, perhaps they have upgraded since then. I do know that the hardball note was there and thought it was odd, but hey, I figured it was a disclaimer of some sort. I do know that they were finicky in certain pistols as are a lot of other mags, so I use them for practice, like the others that dont feed reliably in my pistols. gyp_c2Is absolutely right, there is only one way to know if a mag will work in your gun, and that is to shoot it. I'm very comfortable with using the military mags in my pistols as they do work in all my 1911's, I know, I've shot all of them in all of my guns. Best of all is the fact that I get 6 mags for the price of 1 Wilson, how can you beat it?

"Just get Wilson 47-anythings and be done with it. "

I heard this about a million times, so I finally bought one - even though the CMC Match Grade AND the stock Kimber mags were working fine.

Get this: within 300 rounds, the plastic follower had worn down and wouldn't engage the slide catch.
Now it's a spare.

Go figure.
Maybe I got a lemon, but I was surprised to find it is no magic mag.

Was doing a bunch of reloading drills at the range today.
Two of the five of us had Wilson's exclusively, I had three CMC, on Wilson.
About 1/3 of the time a Wilson hit the concrete, the baseplate all but fell off.
-to each their own, I suppose.
