forgot to mention that you are right the hammer will be done that way shortly on mine as well, rite now I am just finishing up a 58 rem that I shortened to 5 1/2 inches and installed the kirst civil war konverter..

I beilieve the 51 frame is about 1/4 inch shorter than the 60 but someone else here may no more..

forgot to mention that the grip frame on my stub is from a .36 pietta navy london model which comes with the steel grip frame. I swaped the two out because I wanted the shorter grip on the stubby and the longer (army) grip frame on my 8 inch london because I have made it one of my target guns and feels good for balance on this heavier gun (.36 london)..

lol, I just recieved a kirst from old south for my Christmas present, they were on sale for $283.00 I beilieve..

Since I bought it for myself, i went on the cheap. $200 + s&h at Taylors.

that was a great price! I have done alot of buisness with taylors they are great people to work with, I know they just had a sale on them for a few days but they did'nt have the kirst I wanted but I do check back with them from time to time.. (really good prices on parts too!)
