Ed, if the court ruled you should turn in all your firearms, would you?
If the court ordered you to renounce your faith (whatever it may be), would you?
If the court ordered you to kill your family (it has been done in other countries before), would you?
Explain to me again how that "if a court says" thing works...The fact is, there are bad laws and good ones. We decide every day which we will obey. Many laws (such as speed limits) are routinely broken by a high percentage of Americans. The danger comes when the laws are in sharp contrast to the behaviour and/or beliefs of the people. In such cases, it has been found that widespread flaunting of even poor laws tends to lead to much less compliance of other, more popularly accepted laws.
