120x enough to see 5.56 holes at 300m?

As frustrating as it may be I much prefer all of this to be down to user error and something not being tight than it being and issue with either the rifle or the scope. No question there.

All that said, the scope is on tight, tight, tight!!

My scope high end is about 35x. I can usually see 300 yd 30 cal holes. It is a challenge though. Heat and wind make this hard.

I belive that the difference is in the lens ability to resolve the image and scopes fine focus ability.
