10mm HK?

Wet Telephone Book Tests!

A pal and I tested various loads on wet telephone books, duct taped together so we could have about 2 feet of penetration if we needed. When we shot a 10mm, 135 grain CorBon, the results were amazing. Everything else seemed to penetrate to a certain depth, 8" to 10" and even to 18" for a .45acp cast bullet load. But the 10mm, 135 gr CorBon literally EXPLODED after penetrating about 2 inches. What we found was the base of the bullet, and "oatmeal" 1 1/2 times the size of a soft ball. I really need to test some .45acp light bullet CorBon, but I tell you the 10mm was impressive. A dead cartridge, I don't think so! But does it fill a gap, hard to tell. But, it sure is impressive. It ruined our phone book test.

Guys, I am not saying anything bad about 10MM. I like the 10MM!
But a dozen guys on TFL isn't what a company like HK would call "Demand". For that you would need 1 or 2 major police departments to mark very large requests along with an outcry from private shooters... A LOT of private shooters.

An HK USP Compact in 10MM? That would be SWEEEEET.

The best thing you guys could do would be to petition Jarvis or such outfit to develope a conversion kit for the .45 USP versions.
You couldnt convert a .40 do to case lengths... but .45 you could.
Modify mags with a drop in barrel... that is about all you would need.
