10mm ammo? Walmart?

in my area - IL - niether walmart or Farm & Fleet carry 10mm. That round is kinda rare in the gun shops by me as well.

What was I thinking! I have a SportsMan Warehouse just down the road, maybe a mile from my Walmart.

They have HSM 200g fmj, Bazer 180g fmj, and Federal 200g fmj. All around $30 box 50.

Funny, I asked the guy at the gun counter what HSM mean's, he said he doesn't know, and a cute little young girl/lady behind the counter said "head strong men". I pointed my finger at her, and I said "BINGO!"

Now, time to decide which to try out, maybe all three of them. Hey, there only 60 pennies a shot!

Buy what your gun likes best

Buy a box of each and see which one your gun prefers then buy more of that brand...

My local Walmart sells everything! They're the largest ammo retailer in the area. I saw .45 Colt, 410 pistol rounds and 10mm there the other day. They're also selling the kit and supply to reload your own! Only thing this one doesn't carry is actual weapons, but the one a few miles away does! I consider myself lucky that the Sporting Goods manager is a self-proclaimed shooting enthusiast!

In my experience, the only ammunition which Walmart can be counted upon to have in stock is the very most common calibers

My walmart has tons of ammos.

22s 22l 22whmr w/e its called, 9mm 45 40 38 357
Tons of hunting calibers and odd balls I can't name, 12g 410 20g
223 556 7.62x39
30-06
30-30
Like I said some hunting claibers I cant name, like 270 and others in that nature.

no 25acp 32/ IIRC

Closest I ever got to getting 10mm at walmart was when the clerk said i was the second person to ask for it that week! Traded that puppy off for a 357 first chance i got.

Afraid 1hogfan83 is right. I can't recall seeing 10mm in any Walmart here in Arkansas, the home of Walmart.

Ordering online or reloading will be more economical if you shoot much 10mm.
