Only a firearm enthusiast can understand why we have many (and multiples) of guns/calibers. I am also a hobbyist woodworker and collector of handtools-am I a criminal because I have dozens of smoothing planes? Hundreds of plumb bobs?
What I find most depressing is that other than the short barrel weapon and destructive device charges, none of the others were crimes 30 years ago. and many of them aren't crimes outside the state of California, today.
What the heck is assault weapon/.50 BMG rifle activity, anyway?? Shooting them?
The guy may have been "engaging in the business" without the right licenses or exceeding the licenses he had, that's possible.
I see no crime of violence charges, it all seems to be "technical" type stuff, but breaking stupid laws is just as much a crime as breaking just laws, so, there you go.
