Zogby Predicts Gore Victory ++Bush Out++

Zogby does work for Bore. He's been promised a position in a Bore regime as Minister of Propaganda.

That didn't do my attitude or my stomach any good... I don't even want to imagine the damage of 4 more years of this childish garbage... I'm hoping the American public is smart enough to see the damage done already and turn it around tomorrow...

Zogby can go p**s up a rope.

The Battleground Poll shows Bush - 46, Gore - 37.
Gallup has it Bush - 47, Gore - 45.
Rasmussen says it's Bush - 48, Gore - 41.

If you're not a little upset with the way the world is going, you're not paying attention.

Didn't Goebbels insist that if you repeat a statement often enough, people will grow to accept it as fact? Sounds like Zogby is attempting to discourage pro-Bush or Nader folks from the polls.

Two small New Hampshire towns have cast their votes:

Bush: 38
Gore: 18

It's a good start! :)

Actually, I disagree - Zogby polls are traditionally non-partisan and usually lean to the conservatives if they lean at all.

One thing you need to remember is that the Zogby poll is a rolling three-day sample of only 400 voters. With the small smalple, it is possible to have a much greater margin or error.

Battleground and PoA both use sample 1,000 voters a day and PoA combines that into a rolling 3-day sample of 3,000 voters.

The thing to remember here is that all these polls are saying the same thing - namely that Bush leads in electoral votes and that Gore MUST win all three of the big electoral vote states of Florida, Pennsylvania, and Michigan to have a realistic chance to win.

All three of those states are top ten in terms of number of gunowners. We stand a good chance of not only stopping Gore; but letting the Republicans know who was responsible for it. Turnout will decide the issue so it is up to us to stay motivated and to get everyone we can out there to vote.

Tim Russert does an analysis of the MSNBC/Reuters/Zogby polling data here: http://www.msnbc.com/news/337140.asp

Zogby traditionally is quite accurate. His is by feathers a democrat but has done polling for both sides. Remember, media sponsored polls are shallow and inaccurate. The same firms do indepth polling where the really good stuff is discovered. These guy would not be in business after a campaign in which they fed the politicians bad information. What you have to remember is the sponsoring agency does influence the poll. Big media has a vested interest in a horse race.

Zogby recently has changed career paths and is moving toward commentator or analyst. That may help goose the numbers.

Zogby has Bush and Gore locked in a dead heat in California, you all know if Gore looses Cali we win the whitehouse right?

Here we are Nov 7th and we still dont know who is going to pull through on top here.

What a nail biter.

If Zogby is right, I'll weep bitter tears. If Zogby is right, and hits the percentage for Gore, he'll be the richest pollster in history.

I do not believe Zogby is correct. The other night Ed Goez(sp) of the battle ground poll was on CNN. They asked him about the Zogby poll. He said that Zogby recently changed the way he conducts his polls. Zogby now polls during daytime and on weekends. Both methods which are notoriously unreliable and show a high degree of demcratic bias.

Zogby has read his press and belives it. He has sold out.

So go vote already! Polls don't count. If they counted, Dewey would have been elected president instead of Truman.

Statistics give me head aches and make me want to drink coffee and have many Krispy Kremes. ;) One thing I know for sure is that polling companies are constantly being tested in real world environments. The last major test for them was the primaries. Rasmussen (Portrait of America) came out way ahead during that test. Zogby came in a distant third.

Battlegrround's Final Poll also has Bush winning but at 50%, Bore at 45% and Nader at %3.5. Their results are based on analysis of all available data. They're not commenting on the Electoral College.
