Always liked the 7.62X25 round but would like to have it in a more compact gun. So for a winter project i was thinking a m88 slide on a m57 frame. Cut the barrel and dust cover to match slide use standard 9 round mags. What do ya think ? Or does some one have a better idea for a more compact 7.62 tok. I know it seems like a lot just to cut a inch or so but I have a 57 and found some used 88s cheap.
