anyone know why these dried up so quick. I heard it had problems with the import point system. Any ideas? finaly found one at a pawn shop today. Got it out the door for $ 195. I paid $ 100 several years ago for one but ended up trading it. been looking for one ever since. Anyway just wondering what happened to them.

If there had been problems with the import points system, they would have never gotten into the country in the first place. I suspect that either the supply dried up, or that the bulk of the supply got diverted to some other country for more money.

Before the civil war started, Natchez Supply was advertising the .380 version in their catalog, but the war stopped exportation of arms. I think the .32s made it into the U.S. because they were police and not military weapons.

There is one for sale right now in .32 ACP on gun broker. Just enter CZ Model 70 and then scroll down the list.

Just to clarify, I believe we're talking about the Crvena Zastava model 70 not the CZ70. This pistol here

I agree not much of a choise for cary or comp but fits nice in a Tok collection and makes a fun range plinker for the recoil sensitive that wants more than .22 I just like finding somthing a little oddball I can aford for my collection.
