Zastava EZ9 Light primer strikes?

I bought a New Zastava EZ9 New a few months back. Its a Sig clony clone. Really just a look alike.

I haven't been able to shoot it until today. I had a bunch of light primer strikes out of 100 maybe 50 or more. I thought it was the Ammo. (Federal) so I went out of the range and bought some range reloads. Same dang thing.

I can recock the hammer and they will fire then but then it happens all over again.

I doubt Zastava has any warranty on these things since they are so cheap.

The pistol itself is very accurate and I like the feel of it. I'd like to try and correct the issue is anyone has any input.

Thanks ahead of time.
It's this one if you need a reference.

Good chance there's thick and/or congealed oil in the firing pin assembly. If it were mine I'd try cleaning it with spray solvent first to see if the problem improves or goes away. If it improves or disappears then remove and thoroughly clean out the channel. FP is retained by a roll pin on that gun, isn't it? If you have access to compressed air, blowing through the FP hole from breach end after the solvent will help clear it out. Hopefully it will be that simple.
