Yugo or Enfield?

Arghhh! I've changed my mind about ten times on this I can't decide between a Yugo 48 and an Enfield Mk4 tanker from Navy Arms (yes I want both). I like the sights on the Enfield much better and the bolt's are sweet, but the 8mm ammo is cheaper, and the Yugo's more attractive in my book.

Any thoughts on how to make up my mind, must order gun soon or will into withdrawel.

Thanks Blue Duck

Darn! Darn! Darn! Where were all of you to tell me at least one of these guns were junk? Now my "Friendly" FFL went and talked me into ordering both of them. My gal gets home at 4:35 central and trusted me at home on my day off, now I'm in trouble. Any suggestions for how to ease the blow on her reduction in closet space.

I've got a Yugo Mauser and a few Enfields. You'll love these rifles! Better to get the girlfriend used to it early, you sound hopelessly addicted... ;)

Something my brother told me...

Any time that you go out and buy something expensive for yourself, you should buy something expensive for her.
Doubles your out of pocket cost, but she won't be mad at ya.

Like Gino's idea better than caliban's but 25 minutes to go and I've decided to claim it was "Buy one get one free". Not very good I know, but she looked really funny at me the last time I used the "oh I've always had that" line when I bought the M1 Carbine.

Thanks, Blue Duck

i guess its a moot point now but...

the yugo is a better sporting rifle and the ammo is cheaper but corrosive

the enfield is the best bolt-action battle rifle made due to its 10-rd mag and faster rate of fire (bolt throw); ammo is more expensive but you can get non-corr and boxer primed from PMP

have a good time with them, i've got both too
