Yugo m24/47s drying up?

In the world of C&R firearms, especially in today's gun buing fury, if you snooxe, you lose!
It's hard to predict when any C&R supplies will dry up, or new ones will show up. But the political climate right now makes the latter very unlikely.
So if you really want one, buy It now.

if you're a mauser guy then yes you probably should, no telling when those $200 beauties will turn $500.... probably already happening as far as I know...

2 months ago steyr M95s were $120 up only 20 since I started liking milsurps 3 years ago.... now they're rounding $300.

They are not making any more of them ....... you can't say that about the dollars you are trying to buy them with!

well I just got my m24/47 for 279.99 at my local gun shop I will post pictures when the wife gets home as i am terrible with the camera :D

yeah lighting sucks in my room. The only real problem is someone scratched up the trigger guard area and the wood has a few dings but nothing major

I an remember when Krags, SMLEs, Carcanos, even M1s, were common. Gunshows, gun stores, big retailers had many examples. Plus, they could be purchased for a song...........

i remember when i was younger going into the local gunshop with my dad and seeing a crate of assorted mauser with a sign that said "50 dollars each" man why cant it be like that again

When Mausers were $50, how much less were peoples' wages? Even with much less pay, guns could have been a better value.

When they were $50 apiece, folks made $12,000 a year and were doing pretty good. After the bills were paid, you had about $300 a month for eating out, buying gas for the car, savings, the dentist, and $50 Mausers.

The 50's through the 80's were probably the best times at least the buying power of a dollar. When I was in HS in the 60's average kids were buying their own cars with earnings of their after school jobs. My daughter went to the same HS as did only 30 some years later. I used to take her to school and pick her up. Almost none of the kids were driving and there were actually parking spaces, when I went there you couldn't find a parking space 4 blocks away from school. Conversely, in the early 1900's a cheap Iver Johnson pistol cost $5.95 which would have been 2 days wages. It is all relative.
