Yugo M 59 firing pin sticks out of back of bolt assembly..

I recently got a Yugo M 59 from Samco great rifle. However, I am curious if the firing pin is supposed to stick out, about an inch from the back of the bolt assembly?? My yugo M59/66 did not ever do this. Here are some pictures..

Certainly nice rifles though.
 
No, they're not supposed to stick out that far. First, make sure you have the right pin. If so, you probably can pull it out of the bolt. Tap the retainer out, insert the pin the right way and reinstall the retainer.

Very nice rifle otherwise.
 
Figured that, I decided to just send it into Murray's gunsmithing. I don't like having the risk of a slam no matter how slight. One time at the wrong time is enough. But yea great rifle, Samco Arms is sold out now maybe my post helped lol. :-|
