Youth Stock for Mauser action?

All,

My youngster has outgrown his TC .223 Youth Carbine and is ready to move up in the world.
I have a gorgeous old custom Mauser in .243 which I'd like to pass on to him but it's in a full length stock - a nice custom stock which I am unwilling to cut down.

The best solution would be to find a synthetic youth stock to drop the rifle in until he grows into the full-sized stock. Several companies make youth stocks but I have been unable to find one for a Mauser action.

Anybody know a source?

Keith. I have a stock from a J.C. Higgins Model 50 that has been cut down and has a pad on it. It is in a basic classic form. O took it of a .270 I picked up in a trade. The Higgin's Model 50's are based on the FN Mauser action. It does have a few minor beauty marks, but is otherwise in very good shape.
I also have a 95 % inletted Bishop stock laying around if that strikes your fancy.
You know us Mauser freaks never throw anything away. :)
E-mail me and we can work out details, if you're interested.

why not get a new stock

just buy a new stock-used or not-depending on how much u want cutoff a really nice stock would maybe be a bit too much to bear-u can get them really cheap if thier the original-in my Midway on page 43 there is a CoreLite synthetic stock for mausers-large rings that has a rubber buttpad and swivels for 85-and thats commercially made-it doesnt say the size but its probably full size-buying a stock and modifing it would probably be the cheapest and u can customize it jsut for him

also on the last page thers a sale on fajen unfisnished rifle stocks so u could cut it then finish it-thier for 75-it says coffee and midnight colored stocks-good luck
