A woman posted the following at another board I post at sometimes. I read it over and over and I am having a hard time replying to her, I can't tell from her post if she is against the MMM or wants to join them. If you will note at the begining of the post she says "Gun CONTROL organizations", which I take as people like HCI, BELL, MMM etc. Then read on, it seems to take a twist. I am just curious what others think and if this is as confusing to you as it is to me. Thank you.
The Gun control organizations of this country have duped mothers and everyone else as to their real agenda which is to .........MAKE MONEY!
That's all they're in business for. As Proof of this, I offfer this sad story....
A local Federally Licensed gun dealer contacted all of the major gun control organizations in the U.S. only to be laughed at and/or ignored.
He offered to symbolically turn over his license in front of the media (actually return his license to the government) in exchange for financial help in opening a new business. This business would be a indoor family recreational facility in a city that has no business of this type.
He needs about $175,000 to $ 200,000. Considering that these organizations get contributions in the millions of dollars each year, this is a small price to pay.
This man (a disabled vet) sells guns because it's a good way of having an income to support his two little boys. Here he is changing sides on the gun issue because he's tired of seeing small children being injured and killed every year because of gun violence. He wants to change his community, contribute to it.
If every mom who participated in the Million Mom March gave $ .25 to $1.00 to this man, it could save a life...maybe your son or daughter. He KNOWS first hand about the dangers of children and guns.
He was shot as a child while in his own home by his brother at age 11. No one knows the horror of an incident like this better than he does...unless you have LOST a child to a gun accident like I have.
I guess we Moms have to do somethings on our own...please write to me to find out how we can stop at least one gun dealer from participating in one more death.

It also sounds to me that the dealer she is talking about here made his comments with sarcasim "If you want me to give up my business then buy me a new one."
