Your gun cleaners, what do you use

Im just wondering what everyone is using. I use Gunslick Ultra-Klenz for my main cleaner, then every so often I run Gunslick Copper-Klenz down the barrel.

G 96 gun cleaner(as well as hoppes, but mostly G96 right now). It's cheap, and is a 3 in 1(Cleans, lubricates and prevents rust), as well as it smells nice. Haven't had any rust issues with it, and because it's in an aerosol can, it sprays on quickly.

M Pro7 = bio degradable and doesnt stink up the whole house:D AND you can mix it 50/50 with water to extend its use

My "go to" gun oil is G-96, there's no substitute for this oil. And as far as bore solvents go "Bore Tech" Eliminator is the best fouling solvent I have tried, and there's more than a dozen bore solvents in the cleaning cabinet in the laboratory.;) Yes I've got the Barnes, Shooter's Choice, Gunslick Foaming bore cleaner, Smith & Wesson bore gel, Butch's Bore shine, Hoppes,,,,,,,, yadda yadda.........

+-1 for " ED'S RED "

I mix up a gallon at a time and keep a jug on the work bench .
lots of good uses for tough cleaning jobs in and around the garage/work shop.
absolutely love this stuff. :)

I'm with Hooligan. The Boretech Eliminator has made my other stuff into secondary cleaners. Every now and then, if the barrel isn't too dirty, I'll patch it a few times with Butch's or Shooter's Choice. My logic there, right or wrong, is that I want the powder fouling out of there, but I don't want all of the copper out. It seems that if I take all the copper out, I have to shoot a rifle (some of them anyway) more than a few times to get them to 'settle down' and shoot their best. There is no scientific proof behind that, but that is the way it seems.

A modified version of Ed's Red using John Deere Low-Viscosity Hy-Gard ATF, MEK, kerosene, mineral spirits, toluene or xylene, some Lube Control LC-20, and about 1.5 oz. of Lucas Synthetic Oil Stabilizer per quart (I have a bunch of it on-hand and it does seem to help with lubricity).

The only drawback is that this mixture doesn't have a flight number associated with it :)

I use PB penetrating oil to clean. I use it at work as an auto mechanic and found it works great cleaning guns. Lots cheaper too. I rinse metal with brake cleaner and plastic with isopropyl. I lube with Mobile 1. Another tech gave me a spare quart of 5W20 so I'm set for gun oil for a good long time.

I use PB penetrating oil to clean.

Ugh... I made the mistake of using PB blaster on a bedroom hinge once.... That stuff is STINKY!!!! It works better than anything else, but after that its an outdoors ONLY spray. :p
