same here. I was searching for remington 597 vs. ruger 10/22 reviews (I had the 10/22 and my friend had the 597 and I wanted to know that mine was better)
 
I had found TFL long before now. I was a member back in these/those days. Didn't really then, or appreciate, the information that was given to me. Want to hear a story of one that was with, and the entire internet version on how certain things, came about?

I'm not an old man, but have been on the computer since the time of the internet, even before al gore invited it, and MilNet was just something of the black ops types.

I have the entire history, with those that know it also, planted in my brain. TFL, THF, FFF. How the difference in management deals with others, how they came about, who created them, and who ruined them.

I'd forgotten about the history of the boards. It's something, that I maybe can share. Interesting, good people that are now gone, interesting no doubt.
