Thats it! I have absolutely had it! I am talking with an anti right now online. She has obviously no comprehension of logic, and does not care when I call her on her rabidly faulty logic.

They are all communists. I hate communists with a burning, livid passion. We are dealing with real, living, breathing communists. Scares me to death! If you give a long hard think to it...you'll realize just how many reds are in the USA right now.

Brainwahsed beyond belief, these people cannot operate within intellectual boundries. Thus, they are truly simpleton idiots. Bafoons going off at the mouth, stroking their own glossy egos. Speaking meaningless phrases, yet looking to each other and themselves as the source of "truth." Lies pour from their foaming mouths! They redefine in order to justify irrelevant un-truths because they do not have the capcity to "look-and-see" the deeper agenda.

We cannot reason with them. I say, forget trying to turn individuals. Sure, we may gain a few here and there. But the time and energy spend on doing so is wasted. We need to focus on politics, not civilian pawns. We need to strike the head, not the worthless fingers. We are dealing with a monster whose fingers, and even limbs grow back. I will not be wasting my time with invertabrate amoeba that are both value-less and helpless to themselves and to our fight. I will never as long as I live waste my time talking to another lemming. From now on, it is Washington/state gov. or nothing. I will not do nothing.

I have never in my life been met with such a mental-defective as this one! I am surprised she has lived this long. I fear that one day, she will be in a situation where she will wish she had a gun...but they have all been banned. Not even on this medusa do I wish the inability to protect herself.

I deeply sympathize, Hueco.

It is really frightful how deeply socialism and its gutless sense of fetal-position security has ingrained itself in the minds of people all over the "western" world.

If it makes you feel any better, even in the very company I work for (we produce guns!) there are people, mostly females, who love Gore and all that he stands for, oblivious of the fact that other companies (S&W comes to mind) are already handing out pink slips thanks to "the system".

I used to think that the problem is that America, having never been invaded or occupied by a foreign army, takes liberty for granted. But then I looked at other countries, like France, Italy, the Netherlands etc, and the tune is sadly the same.

I wish that I had some advice for you, besides this: do not stop talking to people and trying to make them reason. Sometimes it can be very frustrating, but it is our duty to be the "watchdogs of society" since the major media have stopped being that long ago. That torch is now in our hands, and sometimes it does burn and hurt.

In a way, the tide is already turning thanks to the Net and the "new media", and to people like you who take the time to "reason" with the unreasoning.

And if you get too uptight (which is inevitable, given the macroscopic ignorance and arrogance of some of our interlocutors) just think that you are not alone, and that there are millions (and growing) of others who agree with you because they KNOW. That, I found, and the occasional glass of Cabernet works for me. ;)

Hueco, I feel your frustration, I go through this all the time online and IRL. Some people are just complete closed minded, spineless, nazi loving, stubborn......idiots :D (Can you tell it gets to me too? ;)) Sometimes I feel like giving them a good wack to the head and see if I hear an echo. Try and look at it this way...they are morons, they are digging their own grave, and they will live in darkness their entire life as opposed to us who will live in a life with light, happiness, and most of all a clear conscious (sp). You just gotta let it slide when it ticks you off that much. Try and make light of the situation and feel sorry for them that their brains aren't completely made in the USofA :D.

Hueco - To use a word created by Jeff Cooper, you have encountered a hoplophobe. Col. Cooper derived the term from Greek roots and it roughly translates to 'weapon terror.'

A person thusly afflicted derives their views from neuroses and fear. You can't change his or her mind - you are attempting to use logic and statistics to change / sway irrationalites best addressed in a theraputic setting.

Don't waste your time. :) They're not "communists", just... afflicted.

BTW, "To Ride, Shoot Straight and Speak the Truth" by Jeff Cooper is an excellent and insightful book.

Thanks everyone for the wisdom, been a loing time since I've heard such valuable words. I'm going to really try to get some of the shooters at my workplace to get active. Shouldn't be too hard either, they're both pretty avid. I've also got some friends that could be pulled over to our side with a good effort. I'll see what I can do. But I swear, next time I talk to another hydra (see that Coinneach?) I am just gonna walk away...with a smile.

I'm glad in a way to hear that you all get torqued by this too. To me, responsive rage (indignation) is a sign of passion. It's a passionate bunch we've here!

Many mushrooms enjoy their protected existance. They live in a warm dark place, need make no decisions, have no personal responsibility, thrive on a steady diet of equine fecal matter and think all beings should be as happy as they. Many of them, if set free would crawl back to their secure and controled homes. They are not cogent enough to realize they are merely pawns for the big players to dominate.

Most of the subjects of communist countries are not themselves communists. They have been so trampled that they just don't resist communism. And many of those have grown so accustomed to being told what to do and what to think that they can no longer imagine existance without close supervision and direction.

Less government, more personal responsibility is not food for the faint of heart. Rather, it is for those who are strong and not afraid of failure.

Carrying on a conversation with a mushroom is generally pretty one way.

I actually like to say that having a discussion with ignorant folk is worse that trying to have a conversation with the wall, because at least the wall don't talk back!

Mushrooms, at least, serve a purpose that is their own.

The U.S. has been invaded, but it's been a while. At any rate antis don't mind the army protecting us, they just don't want to do it themselves, nor do they think anyone of us needs a weapon for that reason.

The U.S. was invaded by British armies in the war of 1812 (remember that little thing about burning down the White House?)

Some Mexican troops crossed the border in the Mexican-American war.

Japanese troops occupied some Alaskan islands in WWII.

And if you're a southerner, you might have a memory of invasion and occupation.
 
The Anti's are the biggest part of the problem not because of there influencial power -- Its because of our masses moldability, and there huge amount of media... For example the other night a friend had my family and several others over for supper and we were talkin about guns, to each other -- not the group. Well, after the meal and about 10 min of talk I got my mini 14 out of the trunk. He then went and got his SKS and we compared (RUSSIAN SKS NEVER BEEN FIRED). Well one of the other guests was there and didn't say much to us--she was talkin to the other ladies. She wasn't offended I don't think, just odd acting. They were not loaded or anything but her keys were on the table the rifles were on. She asked me to move the SKS so she could get her keys from the other side of the table. That's to me is odd. She couldn't move herself to reach over the rifle to grab her keys.

I think this kind of person is not an Anti(yet) but has been molded by society into believe that Guns are eeeevil and that only students that kill other students and drug dealers have guns.

Any Suggestions from the more wise on how to approach(think about) this one.
