yet even another H&R 32 cal

top rib says "Harrington and Richardson arms co."
"Worcester mass. USA"

on left side of barrel it reads "32 cal. S & W CTGE"

on chamber and the extractor are matching numbers "707"

on the bottom of the handle is "3 35 7 07"

Can this hammerless top break revolver fire smokeless or only blackpowder?

Any info would be greatfully appreciated. Any idea of its value in decent condition for age?

H&R put the caliber designation on the left side of the barrel to indicate smokeless capability, so you are good to go with smokeless. I think many of the topbreak frames have been streched by people slingling them open. I have observed this in break open shotguns that don't open agianst the main spring.

Would appear to be an Auto-Ejecting Third Model, called the "Police" Model because of the bobbed hammer. Made 1905 to 1939. I agree with thibaultfelix40 that it was made for smokeless.
