Yet another DA revo question

Sorry about this, if I had more money than time these decisions would be easy......

What .357 magnum revolvers (vastly prefer DA) can stand up to full-power loadings virtually indefinitely, long after I'm worn out and everyone I'm with at the range is worn out too? Something that laughs at pitiful human frailties and begs for more. Something that I don't have to worry about what factory ammo I put into it. The (range only) diet would mostly consist of non-full-power .357, occasionally some .38spl but I want to be able to not worry about what factory ammo I'm feeding it.

Besides S&W L, N frames and Ruger GP-100 (SP too?)...

How about .44 magnums, again in DA?

N frame and Redhawk?

At least no one can TRUTHFULLY say "get a Glock!":p

Any .357 gun will be fine with factory fodder.

Besides, as you said
The (range only) diet would mostly consist of non-full-power .357
I wouldn't discount the smaller-frame designs if they feel good to you, or you find a nice deal on one.

You got it about right

The strongest 357 out there in da would be the discontinued Ruger Redhawk(yes they made it for a short while in 357 magnum) Next best is the GP100 with the N frame smith running a close third. All will take a steady diet of full loaded 357's.
there are 4 strong 44's in DA. the Super Redhawk is about the strongest with the std Redhawk a close second. The Dan Wesson
44 is also a strong design as is the Taurus Raging bull in 44 magnum. All of these are big revolvers but will shoot full loaded 44's till the cows come home. The n frame smith(29, 629) is an excellent gun but will wear MUCH faster with a steady diet of full loaded 44's. I usually shoot mostly medium loads for everyday use and save the buffalo stomers for the big boys. Lets face it realisticly you can do 99% of what needs to be done with a 44 magnum with a Keith load of 17 grains of 2400 undr a 250 SWC. should run abour 1250 fps. Little can stande in its way. If you really need the bigger heaver bullets (say the 320 or 340 grain SSK heavy hitters go for the Super Redhawk its worth it and strong as a bull. Also the weight helps control the heavy recoil assosated with these heavy bullets. JMHO Hope this info helps.
I currently own or have owned both the 629, Dan Wesson and a Super Redhawk all are excellent guns when used within their limitations. :)
