S spyderdude New member Jul 15, 2009 #3 I think he meant a plain old Remington 16 gauge shotgun that didn't have anything fancy on it like you see on a lot of newer shotguns. It is common for people to give their "toys" like cars and guns female names, or refer to them as "she" or "her."
