My problem was that I couldn't find a load that was accurate. I was loading 25 bullets in powder steps of 5 bullets per weight and could not get less than a 6" spread at 10 yards using a gun vice with a crimson trace laser. I went through 8 different powders that have always found one or two weights of powder that would give me a 2" or less cluster.
The Xtreme plated are a better product. I tried to get them to replace the jacketed bullets with the same weight in plated bullets but they would not do it. The aggravation of trying to get them to answer my emails, stories of emails they sent but I never received, and the two and three day turn-a-round on their replies just got too frustrating.
Funny thing is they also removed me from their mailing list as I didn't get the Black Friday mailer. A range buddy who is a buying partner for bulk buys got the mailer and forwarded it me wanting to know if I was interested in any of the plated bullets. I reminded him of the FMJ and we now have an order in with Bayou Bullets on the Black Friday sale.
I am through with them.
