We attended the Wyoming 4-H State Shoot this weekend!

Nearly 1000 kids competed in air rifle, air pistol, .22 rifle, .22 pistol, shotgun and archery.

It was an amazing event!

Here is my daughter during her Sportsman's Class 10 Meter air rifle relay.

It is very encouraging to see such interest in the shooting sports by our young people.

Miss Stana,

She did very well. She only began shooting the Sporter class rifle two weeks prior to the shoot, as she was using a lite target rifle in all the seasons side-by side and postal matches. Each county team can only qualify 4 kids in lite target, and she was #5, so she was placed on the Sporter Class teem. She finished mid pack, but was very excited. This was here very first year competing, most of the other county kids on the team have been active for at least two years!

Go to the link I supplied above to learn more about 4-H shooting.

Thanks for the interest.

Congrats to your daughter, and you for getting her involved.

4-H Shooting Sports and the Jr/SH Rodeo shooting programs are two of my favorite. (I coach both).

Juniors are the future of shooting sports, we should all support them every way we can.
