I have a stash of Ramline Hi-caps for the Beretta and Taurus .40 cal pistols. I believe they hold 13 (?) rounds now.
I want to end up with at least a 13 round mag with a standard-style spring. hopefully 15 rd.

I'm thinking of putting a standard style spring in these things, and adding a mag extension. The spring should not be difficult. Does anyone know if someone makes a mag extension that can be made to fit these ? A little metal work would not be out of the question.

The ramline mag metal looks very good. nice finish and fit. This quality leads me to guess that the steel itself is probably good quality, too.

I'd like to hear your ideas.

Thanks

I have several ramline 13rd taurus 40 mags also, your idead sounds interesting. I never thought about converting them to a standard spring. Bought mine from cdnn about 13 bucks each. I hope someone here has a few ideas I have enough that I could sacrifice one or two for a little R&D. Good idea fortyshooter
