Actually, Ptown IMHO did a post that I should have done before but never got around to it.

If you look at many of my posts to new folks, middle folks, and old folks (members) I have use the packing.org website for the information.

It wouldn't change much. The questions that we answer by pointing people, new or not, in that direction will still be asked. And we will still happily answer the same way.

I have spent around 40 hours reading up on gun laws, up to and including debating statute-and I still have lots to learn.

But you won't find me asking: Can I get a CHL in my state?

So yes, newbie here, but in the real world, I have a fair bit of useful knowledge.
