WW2 Combatives Classes in Europe

I will be teaching a total of three unarmed combat/knife fighting/knife defense classes in Sweden and Northern Poland this May for Slavo's organization.
The Polish class will also include handgun point shooting.
Info can be obtained here...http://www.ipdta.com/

I am confused. It is a WW2 combatives class for which you have directed us to a site with a general link and so when I searched for more information on the WW2 course in the course section, it wasn't there. Then your description says you are teaching unarmed/knives/knife defense and then handgun point shooting.

So just what is the WW2 combatives course? What is the WW2 aspect of it and how does it differ from more modern courses? Is this a course for reenactors?

The link is to the website of IPDTA, which is owned by a Swedish police officer named Slavo.
He is running the courses--basicly hiring me to teach them-- and he is the man to contact for more info.
WW2 combatives is a buzzword for the type of silent killing that was taught to the British Commandos (Fairbairn system) and that was taught to the Marines in the PTO (Biddle system)
And no, it is not for reenactors but for those seeking easily acquired skill for close combat.
I will also soon be offering similar classes throughout the USA.

Not to sound too argumentative, I'm sure the classes are interesting, but "easily acquired" and "close combat skills" are two phrases that do not go together

Andy--sounds to me as if you are studying the wrong kind of close combat.
To each his own.
Don, thanks for the kind words.
Here is the link to a class review that my bud and I put on for the Akron. OH Police Department last year.( free of charge, BTW)

To further my shameless self promotion--I have a standing offer of a weekend of free training to any law enforcement/military unit anywhere in the USA.
And, yes Virginia, one can learn a lot from this system in a weekend.
All I ask for is expenses.
Contact info is temkinmatthew@yahoo.com

Frankly, I would love to go to Sweden to take a class. Maybe you could work-out a travel package! [I'm sorta joking--but a cousin of mine went over to pick-up a Volvo at the factory a few years ago as part of a package deal. He got to drive it there over a two week vacation, after which they shipped it to Savannah. Pretty cool)

Actually I already have three teaching assignments for this class, which also includes close range point shooting, lined up.
Va in September, New Hampshire in late October and L.A. in early December.
I'll post more specifics as the class dates draw near.
