G George Stringer Staff Alumnus Jan 17, 2000 #2 Michael, personally I use a couple of drops of Devcon on the threads of the base screws only. A lot of folks like Loc-tite. I would probably use the blue on a non-magnum rifle and the red on a magnum. George

G George Stringer Staff Alumnus Jan 18, 2000 #4 Michael, Devcon is an epoxy. I really shouldn't have named it. Any epoxy would work. You can buy it at Wal-Mart or any hardware store. George
