Looking to buy 870 or 500 with 18.5 barrel for home defence. Condition not a factor as long as it is a shooter.

This time of years, pawn shops are crawling with 870's, often older broken in and well made ones. Find a vent rib full choke fixed barrel and you can buy it for 125 and 4 bucks for a good hacksaw blade. measure and cut at the front edge of the last VR post past 18 inches, usually give you about a 19 inch barrel.
