Would you trade NIB Walther PPK/S 32ACP

and a NIB factory assembled BM with a M4 type post ban upper for a NIB Springfield armory "standard" M1A. It has the chrome lined bbl and fiberglass stock. I am currently saving for a house and without getting a divorce, cannot afford another rifle. I think I am going to do it, but would like your opinions please, Thanks, Terry

It's not that bad of a deal considering what M1A's are going for. I wouldn't really consider it a joke if you price the BM and Walther PPK. It would come out comparable. If you really want the M1A (great rifle), do it. If not, don't.

Just to give you another set of data points:

NIB BM Shorty AR - $850 (add another maybe $50 for the M4 setup?)
NIB Springfield Standard M1a - $1250
Don't see many Walthers down here

These prices from the Lakeland, Florida gunshow this past weekend. It does sound close to me. I don't see many PPKs down here, and there's got to be a reason. (I know they all bite me badly when I've shot them.)

HTH!

Latest PPK prices in my neck of the woods go between $450-$550.

So many pistols, so little money.

For what it's worth, I paid $800 for the BM and $325 for the Walther. I feel I can do alot more with the M1A, than with the BM and I already have a few small CCW guns. Like I said, I'd love to own all of them, but my wife thinks, and she is right, thats it's time we buy our own house. I can use my 870 for alot of things that my BM would be used for. Thanks for all the replies, Terry
