Would you recommend a vintage "Gun Guard" lockable hard rifle case?

I'm looking for a reasonably priced, sturdy, padded hard case for my Colt LE 6920. I've found a nice condition brown "Gun Guard" with eggcrate foam. Does anyone know if that is a good quality case? Any other suggestions for something $75-$100 would be appreciated.

I have used one of those, and it got the job done. They have a seriously well built, thick shell, and metal latches, which dont come cheap these days.

For 75-100, though, id go for a plano all weather case. I have one for my remington 700, and i love it.
