60 Minutes (Australia) has just run a segment on self-defence, especially with a firearm. They had a lawyer who said,basically, it was a licence to kill and an invitation to anarchy.

They're asking for public votes. I know you're all very busy, but could I please ask anyone with a couple of minutes to spare to please go and vote?

The question is: Should the law give people greater rights in cases of self-defence?

The question is clear but the circumstances can be vague. I cannot vote YES because of the broad question but, I cannot vote NO because I believe in self and family defense.
