Would you jump on these deals?

On another forum I am selling one of my Ruger LCRX for 450.00.
A guy wants to trade me a Smith 4" 64-8 for the trade and 150.00 on my end.
This is in California where handguns are getting scarcer to get, and especially guns that are off roster.

The other deal is a guy selling one of the new Ruger GP100's in .44 special for 550.00. (that looks to be way below MSRP around these parts). Only 150 rounds through it.

Would you jump on either of these deals?

I'd get the 44. I don't care for the LCR as it doesn't work well in my mitts.

Don't think I'd jump on either of 'em.
$450 is steep for a used LCRX. MSRP is $579 for a 3". Barrel length matters. They're running $350 to $400 on Gunbroker.
MSRP on a new M64 is $689. Used Smith 64's are running about $500 on Gunbroker.
MSRP is not a local thing. The "M" means 'Manufacturer's'. Ruger's MSRP on a .44 Special GP is $829. New, on Gunbroker, they're running about $600 to $650. No used .44 Special GPs at all.

I'd get the 44 special.

I don't know much about how your formerly free state has made buying/trading firearms more complex or has added scarcity to common items but to me $550 sounds like a good price for that ruger .
